Due to constant storms coming through Lake City the past month, the parking area at Alligator Lake is to wet to park cars and we will not be able to host the event at the park. We have moved this event to The Oaks Equestrian Center where we have hosted event before. Please check the updated Meet Information for the address. Also due to the over whelming amount of clubs and unattached runners asking to come race we have moved the Green race to the end and will have a coed unattached/ club race.
The Alligator Lake Invitational started out as a local 5k in 2008 to help raise money for local cross country teams in Columbia County. After perfecting the course for three years during the road races B3R Sports decided to make it a high school XC event. Since 2011 Alligator Lake Park has held a middle school & high school XC invitational with the elementary races being added in 2015. This event is for every youth athlete from 5-18! So bring the family and enjoy the beautiful trails of Alligator Lake.
Alligator Lake Park & B3R Sports have joined in hosting several F.H.S.A.A. regional's. This course is one of the first to host a triple region in the state and has hosted 1A, 2A & 3A Region 1 in 2011,2013,2015. This will be the host site for the 2020 Florida Youth XC Championships.
